We're getting close to the end of the first stage of writing. Well, truthfully it's already on the fourth draft after starting over so many times. Well fourth full draft anyways. A part of this story was a real pain to get through. Just couldn't figure out how to do it and get it the way I wanted.
But I'm far and away past that part, so all is good. I think I'm about 3/4 done now. Maybe a bit more, and it's already clocking in at close to 90k and 290 pages so far. That's a good thing. At least I think so. In the last few days I've gone through about 30 or so pages, and combined with all the work I did last weekend and through out the week, I've made quite a bit of progress.
I could swear though that I said I was going to give poor Heaven a break. Well, at least physically she's mostly fine. Mentally, well she's going through a lot here this time around. Not as bad as being stalked by tiny little vampires and ghouls, but psychologically she's getting pretty battered. Wasn't intentional, is just how the story is flowing.
On the bright side, at least for her, others are getting it a bit worse.
Still not sure what I'm going to do after this. i got quite a few ideas semi plotted out for where to go from here, but at the same time, I got two branch offs I want to explore. One of which has to wait until a particular story gets written up, the other, I'm sure I could start it at any time, but want to fit it in at the right time. if that makes any sense. It probably doesn't.
In any case, its been a very productive weekend. Let's see if we can keep this all going.
